Donna Gale Payne

Donna Gale Payne, 60, passed away on January 14, 2020. She was born on August 10, 1959in Joliet, Illinois to Bertice and Elsie Holland.She graduate high school in 1977 and on September 16,1978 she married her High SchoolSweetheart, Brad. Donna graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in 1983. Donna andBrad moved to Ottawa, IL in 1980 where they raised their two children, Brandy and CodyPayne. After staying home for several years with her children, she went back to school to gether teaching certificate in 2003. Donna taught business and computers at Mendota HighSchool for several years before going back to get her Master's degree in Library Science. Shereceived her Master's in 2014 and became the Mendota High School Librarian until she retiredin 2017. Donna retired to Eloy, AZ with her husband in the fall of 2017. Donna enjoyedgardening, reading, and after retirement she became an avid quilter.Donna is survived by her husband: Brad Payne of Eloy, AZ; her children: Brandy Payne ofSpringfield, IL and Cody (Mari) Payne of Phoenix, AZ; and her siblings: Nan Humphries, BerlHolland, Wayne Holland, Bill Holland, Edith Pickens, Fray Holland, Eugene Holland, MildredDodge, Diane Medlin, Kathy Garcia, Sharon King, and Debbie Poulos.She is preceded in death by her siblings: Elois and Juet Holland.Celebration of Life will be held at 3 pm on Thursday January 23, 2020 at Gardens Chapel.J.
