Erlinda was known for her kindness and willingness to help others in any way she could. She had a passion for crafting and spent many enjoyable hours working on puzzle books. An active member of the elder's program, Erlinda enjoyed the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. Throughout her career, she contributed to various organizations, including the Gila River and Tohono O'odham Nation San Carlos Irrigation Project, Pinal County, and the Sif Oidak District office.
Erlinda is survived by her children, Stacy and Arliss Hendricks Jr., as well as her siblings Elaine Ahmsaty, Ray, Eleanor, and Melissa Thomas, along with her fourteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lorinda Hendricks, and a stepson, Richard Hendricks and her late siblings, Norbert, Rico, Clemencia, and Patrick Thomas.
A wake will be held at the Thomas residence on Friday, June 27, 2025, followed by a mass at 6:00 p.m. The burial will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 5:00 a.m. in Chui Chu South Cemetery, Tohono O'odham Nation.
