BAPCHULE - Florence M. Brown, 72, of Salt River died Feb. 26, 2009 in Scottsdale. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Billy Farris Memorial Hall. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Bapchule. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.Mrs. Brown was born Nov. 2, 1936 in Snaketown, Gila River Indian Community, and was a daughter of Crouse Lewis and Mary A. Cannon. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing puzzle boxes and spending time with family and friends.Survivors include three daughters, Winifred Vest of Salt River, Arcelia Carrillo and Lovonne DeLaLuz Ruiz of Phoenix; three sons, Martin and David Brown of Sacaton and Lloyd Brown of Bapchule; a sister, Judith Sepeda of Snaketown; a brother, Dana Lewis of Sedona; 31 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
