TEMPE — Frances Augustine Tortice, 81, of Tempe died on Jan. 27, 2012, at Hospice of the Valley's Friendship Village.The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today at the family home in Tempe.Ms. Tortice was born on Nov. 8, 1930, in Ajo and was a daughter of Francisco and Amelia Noriega Augustine. She was a licensed practical nurse.Survivors include three daughters, Linda Tortice of Santa Cruz, Calif., Janis Chimerica of Tempe and Patty Fuller of Lawton, Okla.; a son, David Tortice of Santa Cruz; a sister, Josephine Meeden of Winterhaven; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.J.
