BAPCHULE - Gary Willard Johnson, 45, of Bapchule, died on Oct. 14, 2016. He was born in Phoenix on April 22, 1971 to Willard and Justina Johnson.Mr. Johnson was a fun-loving family man who enjoyed a good practical joke. He also had a love for country music, cowboy hats and the rodeo. He especially had fun playing with children and getting a good laugh out of them. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Jean Johnson, of Phoenix; daughters, Tiffany Laws, Kelly Laws and Garisha Johnson of Casa Blanca; sons, Gary Johnson Jr. of Bapchule and Cole Johnson of Casa Blanca; sisters, Irene Kisto of Sacaton Flats and Dorene Armstrong of Sacaton and brothers Robert Davis of Sacaton and Jerome Davis of ChuChu.He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Garttet Johnson and Michael Laws, and two sisters, Karen Johnson and Annette Bernel.The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 a.m. on Sunday at 1956 N. Fields Road. Bapchule. Graveside services, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating, begin at 7:30 at Vah-Ki Cemetery. Interment will follow.J. Warren Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.
