Born in Beulah, N.D., the son of Decatur and Frances Ford. He had a career in the ARmy from 1951-1971, including service in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He also was a refrigeration repairman. For the past nine years he traveled the nation in his RV enjoying pool and golf. He was also a member of the Eagles in Apache Junction.
