Jennie “June” Ross, 94, died on March 24, 2011, in Casa Grande.Mrs. Ross was born on Sept. 5, 1916, in Maryville, Tenn., and was a daughter of Annie and James McFee. She received an associate degree in Bakersfield, Calif., and transferred to the University of California at Berkeley, receiving a bachelor’s degree. She was a first-grade teacher in Benicia, Calif., and Kearny. She was devoted to her family, her church, her students and friends.Survivors include a daughter, Jean Payne; a son, Richard Ross; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd Ross Jr., and a daughter, Barbara Ross.Memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice Family Care, 950 N.
