Jose was a man of many passions. He found joy in reading, was known for his skills a handyman, and had a deep appreciation for farming.
He is survived by his children: Roselene, Mary, Rachel, Allen Enos, Rita Antone, Nancy Lewis, and Cynthia Wilson. He was a grandfather to 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Jose is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sally Garcia-Enos, and one son, Thomas Enos, and one grandchild.
An all-night wake will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Enos Compound in Hickiwan. A Mass will take place at 5:00 PM, followed by burial on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Hickiwan Cemetery, Tohono O'odham Nation.
