Pedro Mendoza, 85, of Eloy died March 10, 2007 at home.The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at his home. The graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Saturday in Ak-Chin Cemetery.Mr. Mendoza was born Dec. 22, 1921 in Chandler and was a son of Raymond and Carmen Mendoza. He was a farmworker and was Catholic. He enjoyed walking in Eloy and dancing.Survivors include five sons, Raul Mendoza of Holbrook, Richard Mendoza of Randolph, Joe, Juan and Larry Mendoza, all of Eloy; two daughters, Lucinda Mendoza and Julia Ibarra of Eloy; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie (Salcido) Mendoza; a son, Pancho Mendoza; a daughter, Sylvia Mendoza; three brothers, Enos, Lorenzo and Eugene Lopez; and a sister, Margaret Lucas.J.
