CASA GRANDE - Ruth Roslyn Tabot, 94, of Casa Grande, died Oct. 16, 2016, at the Dobson Home in Chandler.She was born March 16, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Samuel and Flora Robbins.Mrs. Tabot was an unforgettable woman. She had a vibrant, friendly and direct personality. She was an award-winning oil painter in the early years of her life. She was later recognized as Central Arizona College’s "oldest student" in the art program.She thoroughly enjoyed the surprise birthday party the CAC culinary program gave in her honor. She was a lifetime member of Hadassah, a Jewish charitable group.She was dedicated to many things throughout her life, but especially to her family. "Family first," is what she lived by. Everything she did was for her family. She was loyal and protective.Survivors include two sons, Alan and Harvey Tabot; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Joelle Tabot.J.
