SANTAN - Sandra F. Manuel, 59, died Dec. 5, 2008 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at the District 4 Service Center. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Vah-ki Presbyterian Church, with Pastors John Jacobs and Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in Vah-ki Cemetery.Ms. Manuel was born in Sacaton. She grew up in Ajo and graduated from Ajo High School. She was a nursing assistant. She loved music, especially gospel. She attended Stotonic Presbyterian Church and served as an elder.Survivors include her companion, Ronald Barehand; three brothers, Sheron Manuel of Salt River, Dwight Manuel of Riverside, Calif., and Larry Manuel of Why; and a sister, Verona Stewart of Bapchule.
