Charlotte, a New Jersey native, was born and spent her formative years in Belmar and raised her family in Lincroft. She worked as a church organist and choir director and as a bookkeeper at Eaves Brooks Costume Company in New York City. In her spare time, Charlotte enjoyed needlepoint and ceramics and was an excellent cook. In retirement, she and her husband Guy traveled extensively throughout the world.
Most of all, Charlotte loved spending time with her family. In 1998, Charlotte and Guy moved to Colorado to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother and treasured her children and cherished her time with them. She especially loved her role as grandma. Charlotte made friends everywhere she went and was a dedicated, life-long friend to many.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 58 years Guy Geoly. She is survived by her children Paul Geoly and his wife Marisa, Pete Geoly and his wife Kristin, and Jean Geoly Armstrong and her husband Hugh and her grandchildren, Katie Armstrong, Alison Armstrong, Mia Geoly, Nik Geoly, and Maria Geoly.
Always an active member of her church and community, Charlotte was a strong supporter of the mission of Escuela de Guadalupe, a Pre-K-8 school in Denver dedicated to offering an education that integrates Spanish and English bi-literacy while being financially accessible to all.
