Donna Mae Frances Smith

Donna Mae (Hill) Smith passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. She was born to Eleanora and James Marcus Hill on Monday, September 7, 1936 in Glasow MT where she was also raised. Donna graduated from Glasow High School in 1954; two years later she met and married the love of her life Robert G. Smith on June 30, 1956, together they had 6 children. Donna traveled with her husband through the U.S. Air Force to England, UK, Mississippi, Montana, Texas and Florida before moving to Tenino, WA in 1972. In 1973 Donna started working for a local Bank of Olympia and retired in 1997. Donna had many hobbies some of which include Crossword puzzles, sewing and crochet. She was also a Mariner and Seahawk fan.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Smith, sons Jeffery Smith and Donald Smith and sister Carol.

She is survived by son; Robert J. Smith; daughters Donna K. Smith, Cheryl (Tom) Kambich, Paula (Ab) Smith; Sisters Darlene Riggin-Stratton and Bonnie Hansen; Brothers Jim and Bob Hill; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 12-5pm on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Sticklin Funeral Chapel and from 10-11am on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at St Peters Parish in Tenino, WA. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 22, following the viewing at St Peters Parish. Memorials may be donations in Donna Smiths name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at 520 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101. Services are under the care of Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia.
