

Glenda Violet (Snyder) Hunter, 80, of Napavine, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Providence Centralia Hospital. She was born on September 24, 1935 in Yakima, Washington. She was 1of 12 siblings.
Glenda married Gerald A. Hunter, Sr., on July 11, 1953. In 1969 they moved to Belfair until moving to Napavine in 1981. Together, Glenda and Gerald raised six children, Gerald, Jr., Glenn, Gaylene, Garland, Guy, and Gregory.
Glenda enjoyed decorating cakes, camping, crafts, and gardening. She loved serving The Lord and we know she is up in heaven with her husband, her brother Ronnie, her Mama and Daddy and having a long awaited talk with her sister, Meta.
Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, and sisters, Verlee Moore and Meta West, and her brother Ronnie Snyder. She is survived by her children, Gerald A Hunter, Jr., Glenn J. Hunter, Gaylene R. (Scott) Schave, Garland R. (Michelle) Hunter, Guy L. Hunter, and Gregory N. (Bobbi) Hunter; brother, Glenn “Butch” Snyder, and her loving sisters, Joy McCracken, Sally Blankenship, Gloria Ragsdale, Sue Jones, Mary Leavitt, Nancy Kalnoski, and Nina Lindy; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren - which were the loves of her life. Glenda has many nieces and nephews whom she also dearly loved.
