

Joseph R. Kus (Bob) was born May 1, 1971, at St. Helen's Hospital in Chehalis, Washington to Joseph R. Kus and Jeri L. (Smetlzer) Kus. He died on May 20, 2024 at 12:08pm at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
Bob was a person who loved to do service for others. He was part of the Royal Rangers at the First Assembly Church in Centralia for 5 years. He was an 18 year volunteer of the Rochester Grand Mound Fire Department. He loved driving the old General in parades.
Bob was a graduate of Rochester High School and New Market Skill Center. After school he worked for 23 years at Rainier Nissan-Mazda and Ulhman Ford and RV. His hobbies were collecting die-cast cars, going to car shows, sprint car and drag races. He loved LEGO and model trains, and also enjoyed going fishing, riding his quad and ATV up in the woods with his club members, and cutting firewood with his grandfather.
Bob is survived by his parents; brother Jon; sister Jennifer; aunts, Judy Lavender and Jolene (Tony) Medina; and numerous cousins. He has many friends.
We will miss you and your smile, and never forget you.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 7th from 1pm-3pm at Swede Hall, 18543 Albany St SW, Rochester.
