He was born to Casper and Ethel Goff, on June 30th, 1922 in Chehalis, WA and graduated from
Chehalis High School in 1940. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1946 during World War II. He married Aimee (Jensen) Christensen in 1956. He had many lines of work including hauling alfalfa, logging, and hauling Christmas trees to California and selling them. He owned and operated Fords Prairie Auto Wrecking and became an avid Gun and Antique
collector starting the S.W. Washington Gun Show that still operates today. He and his wife Aimee also owned and operated a collectors antique show for many years.
Following their retirement Lloyd and Aimee spent several winters in Quartzsite, Arizona finally settling at Stillwaters Estates in Centralia in 2001.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, siblings and wife.
He is survived by his sons Joel (Krista) Goff of Centralia, Fred (Charlotte) Clark of Gig Harbor, Tom (Mary Jo) Christensen of Chehalis, Jim (Vickie) Christensen of Centralia, and Dan Christensen of Centralia, daughters Dianne (Mark) Fagerness of Chehalis, Susan Sjolund of Hadlock, WA., 18 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 18th at Stillwater Estates Gathering Place off of Cooks Hill Rd, Centralia. Services are under the direction of Sticklin Funeral Chapel.
