Marvin Warren Rigsbee, 77, of Centralia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Olympia, Wash. Marvin was born on July 5, 1935, in Stevenson, Wash., to Charles and Maude (Combs) Rigsbee.
On June 10, 1960 Marvin married the love of his life, Barbra (Olson), in Aubrun, Wash. Marvin was a good man who loved spending his time playing games and reading stories with not only his grandkids but everyone’s kids. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, family picnics and campouts. Marvin was always considerate of others; but he also loved to tease people by sneakily putting shoes and other items in the freezer. Whenever you needed Marvin he was always there to help, even if you needed a mouse removed from your living room in the middle of the night. Marvin was a wonderful, caring man who will be truly missed.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; two sons, Ernie and Scott; two brothers, Charles and Leslie Rigsbee; his sister, Mary Ann Rigsbee; three sister- in-laws; two daughter-in-laws, seven grandchildren; one god daughter; three god-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
