Mrs. JoAnne Baker, 78, went home to be with the Lord April 8, 2017. She was born Sept. 27, 1938, in Centralia, Wash. JoAnne worked for the Centralia School District for 28 years in the food service program.
She married James T. Baker November 1955. Her interests included spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, brother-in-law and many friends. Joanne enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, her puppies and watching her birds and squirrels.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Baker; daughter, Karla (Rick) of Big Timber, Mont; sons, Ricky (Sue) Baker of Onalaska and Steven (Kerri) Baker of Galvin; sister, Sherry (Rick) McDanold of Arlington; and grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held April 30, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m., at Church of the Nazarene, 1119 W. 1st St., Centralia, Wash.
