I am sorry to hear of Ruthies passing. I worked with Ruthie at the Bank of Olympia and she taught me so much. We had many fun times and I admired her very much. My thoughts and prayers  to the family.  

My parents (George and Anja Salzer) were one year younger than Jack and Ruthe Salzer who were part of the class of 1949 at Rochester High School.  After my parents were married, they spent a lot of time with Jack & Ruthe, and my mother considered Ruthe to be her best friend, as well as favorite sister in-law.  She speaks highly of Ruthe to this day.  She was a special aunt to me as well!  RIP Aunt Ruthe!

Like my mother was, Ruthie was special to so many and genuinely one of a kind. Bill always said she was his second mom. We all grew up hanging around at Jack and Ruthie’s back in the Bart Dog days and seems like we were always digging clams and staying with them on their beach property. We were always welcomed with open arms. So many great memories 💕. Our thoughts are with you Doug and Pat and family

Desiree, Quinn and Garrett’s lives were blest with the love and knowledge she shared with them.  She shared her love and joy of plants and preserving.  

As Garrett’s “in laws” we were fortunate to meet Ruthe.  She was a joy and delight to meet.  We marveled at her gardening.  She was the sweetest in welcoming us with open arms. 

She will be missed.  We give our condolences to the Salzer family for their loss.

And as Catholic Christians we celebrate her joining her Heavenly Father and all those family members welcoming her to her new home. 

We send prayers of healing to the grieving hearts and prayers of joys for the happiness her memories will bring many.
