Timmy was born in Tacoma, WA, on July 20, 1990, the son of Timothy Lyle Bena and Jacqueline Gail Hill. He attended Wilson High School in Tacoma before setting out as an entrepreneur.
Timmy was such a colorful and fun person. He had a smile, a joke, and a hug for everyone that he knew, no matter how much time had passed since they last hung out. He was a great artist and quite a comedian. Road trips and evenings out with Timmy meant that friends were in store for lots of entertainment! He loved the outdoors and was happiest when traveling from place to place or camping on the Sacramento River with his friends.
Timmy was always concerned about other people. His kind and generous nature was one of the sweetest things about him. If he saw someone in need, he would work to get whatever it was that they needed. If his friends cried, he offered a shoulder and cried with them. If they were upset, he was there to protect them from whatever it was that was causing trouble. A favorite story relates how, as a young boy, he saved a friend’s child that was drowning in a lake. He was a brilliant and shining star that burned out much too soon.
Those that have gone before him include his sister, Elizabeth Jane Gonzalez- Jones; and his dad, Timothy Lyle Bena.
His memory will live on in the hearts and memories of his mom, Jacqueline; sister, Nicole Fengel; brothers, Phillip Jose Gonzales, Patrick Richard Jones, and Seth Aaron Jones; and the huge network of family and friends whose lives he touched during his short life.
Timmy will be cremated per his wishes. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia, WA.
