

Jenny Craig (Virginia Yvonne Talley), 53 of Chehalis, Washington went home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2012 on the High Tower Trailhead near Ashford, Washington. She was born January 16, 1959 in Traver City, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Clifford and Loretta Talley who preceded her in death. Jenny graduated from Mt. St Helens High School at Winlock, Washington in 1977. On May 2, 1981 Jenny married Terry Lynn Craig of Centralia, Washington. Together they had two sons, Joseph and Mathew Craig of Centralia, Washington.
Jenny volunteered for many years for the Rochester School District before beginning her employment there in 1998. She was an education assistant for the past 14 years and worked with countless students during her tenure that meant so much to her. Jenny also held her church family at Faith Baptist Church in a special place in her heart. As a young girl Jenny loved horses and has been known her whole life as a hard worker. Jenny enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, the outdoors, crafting, reading, walking, and was especially fond of hummingbirds. She was loved by many and known by her friends and family as someone who would always be there for you no matter what. She was always quick to support her community in times of need. Her infectious smile and sense of humor will truly be missed by all.
Jenny is survived by her ex-husband Terry Lynn Craig; sons, Joseph and Mathew Craig; grandson Rylen Craig; brother and sister-in-law Clifford and Annette Talley; nieces and nephews Chandra (Joe) Tuder, Colton (Carissa) Talley, Danielle Craig, Glenn Craig, Ryan Althauser, Katrina (Chris) Springer, Miranda (Landon) Shoemaker, and Bryceson Talley; great nieces and nephews Jaycee Talley, Gunnar Talley, Kiley Talley, Garrett Springer, Grady Springer, Shane Springer, Delaney Shoemaker, Sawyer Shoemaker, Hudson LJ Shoemaker, Alaina Craig, Bailey Warner, and Henry Steiger; close family friends Pam and Mark Althauser, Joe and Betty Slape, Angela Buemann, Rod Woodruff, and a long list of many loved ones Jenny held near to her heart.
A graveside service will be held at Claquato Cemetery, Chehalis, Washington on Tuesday, July 31 at 1 pm for family and close friends. A Celebration of Life and reception will follow at Grand Mound Elementary School in Rochester, Washington at 4 pm. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Sticklin Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Jenny’s name at Security State Bank.
