Belinda was born on July 13, 1954 at the Dosher Memorial Hospital in Southport, North Carolina. Daughter of the late Curtis Thomas and Mildred Hewett Long.
Belinda was an officer with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dave Summers and son, Jacob Summers. Brothers, Thomas Roscoe Long and wife, Jackie, Michael Earl Long and Danny Ray Long, sisters, Judy Long Hinson and husband, Butch, Deatrice Dale Coleman and husband, Ronald, Patricia Ann Sykes and husband, Clarence and Theresa Lynn Robine and husband, David; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside service for Belinda will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Sharon Memorial Park 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212.
