Born June 10, 1993 in Charlotte, Ben was a son of Michael Dean McDaniel and the late Holly Chambers McDaniel. He was a 2011 graduate of Independence High School and was attending Central Piedmont Community College. Ben was an avid Boston Celtics fan and enjoyed rap music. In addition to his mother, Ben was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ernestine McDaniel, and aunt, Sandra McDaniel.
Surviving are his father, Dean; brother, Max; sister, Zoe; uncle, Kevin; and cousins, Alyse and Wes.
A memorial service to celebrate Ben’s life will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 6, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, with the Rev. John Harrill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
