Betty Jo Query

Betty Jo Query, 73, of Indian Trail, NC passed away on June 17, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 13, 1942 in Charlotte. She graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in 1960. She married Bobby Query in December of 1958.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Query, whom she was married to for 57 years, and their daughters, Bobbie Jo Hille (Paul), Kimberly McGee (Michael), and son Joey Query (Stacey). She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Jennifer Otero, Joseph Hille, Brittany Moss (Tyler), Joshua Jenkins, Allison McGee, Ryan McGee, Jordan Query and Hayden Query; two great grandchildren, Avery Moss and Hudson Moss; and one brother, Danny Sasser (Ruth).

She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Minnie Bell Sasser.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Levine Cancer Institute, Dr. Neumann and staff, and Hospice of Union County for their wonderful care during her long struggle with cancer.

The visitation will be held on Monday, the 20th of June, 2016 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227 from six until eight o’clock in the evening.

The funeral service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 21st of June, 2016 at Christ Baptist Church, 2018 Highway 218, Indian Trail, North Carolina.

Interment to follow in Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill, NC.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County or Christ Baptist Church.
