She is survived by her children, Verna Ferrell and Jonathan Ferrell of Charlotte; her siblings Joyce Sanders, John Starnes (Mary) of Gastonia and Sue Windham (Bill) of Mint Hill; her nieces and nephews Albert Caldwell, Allen Caldwell, Steven Sanders, David Windham, Mickie Breedlove, Tammy Starnes, Summer Mullis, Allie Starnes, Carter Starnes; five great nieces, Krystal Woodle, Shelby Vissman, Brittany and Karlie Windham and Charleigh Mullis, and four great nephews, Brandon Furr, Joey Caldwell, AJ Caldwell and Blaise Mullis.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Allie Mae Starnes and her brother, Jerry Starnes.
She was affectionately known as "Aunt Bibi". The family would like to thank the 4th floor cancer unit of Atrium Health Main-Charlotte for their tender care of our loved one.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, October 12, 2020 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the funeral home, followed by the burial at Sunset Memory Gardens.
