Kay was born on June 14, 1949 to the late, William and Helen Biszantz. She graduated from Walter M. Williams High School in Burlington, North Carolina then went on to graduate from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
She enjoyed reading, getting her nails done, and watching NCIS. Kay also loved to be outdoors to play tennis and softball, or going boating. However, watching and cheering on her kids and grandkids playing sports was one of her favorite activities.
Kay was always so much fun and quick witted. She was also such a caring person, especially to children and babies. For over 20 years, Kay volunteered at the church nursery, and helped care for friends and family’s children.
She was a member of numerous clubs, such as, the Pioneer Club, the Charlotte Yacht Club, Metrolina MG Car Club, and the Community Tennis League. As a devoted Christian, Kay was a member of Garr Memorial Church and the Greater Life Church.
Kay will be remembered most for her laugh, smile, and her abundant love for her family, especially her grandkids. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed deeply.
She is survived by her spouse, John S. Turner; Children, Jeffrey William Turner and Lauri Turner Wojciak; grandchildren, Morgan Kayla Pressley, Lucas Jeffrey Turner, Owen Sparrow Pressley, Ian Gregory Turner, Adelaide Rose Wojciak, and Frances Lane Wojciak; and sisters, Wanda Fraizer and Cheryl Houser.
