

Christine Carriker Baker McClure Woodrow, 92, of Mint Hill, passed away on December 27, 2012 at home surrounded by her family, who were fortunate enough to care for her in her home. She was born on September 21, 1920 in Union County to the late Noah and Armitte Carriker. Christine worked as a CNA for Presbyterian Hospital and was a caretaker for her parents and other family members. She was an active member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Monroe and truly loved the Lord.
Christine was predeceased by her husbands, Hunter Baker, Harry McClure and Ludie Woodrow; six brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughters; Dianne (Tommy) Lambert and Harriet (Dick) Evans, grandchildren; Derek Lambert, Lisa Campbell, Mark and John Evans, Chip Lambert, Chuck Evans and Sheri Huntley, great grandchildren; Haley Lambert, Hunter Campbell , Eric and Parker Evans, very special niece; Sue Morton and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Presbyterian Hospice, Dr. Goodman and his assistant Sandra for their exceptional care of Christine.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11:00am at Hopewell Baptist Church 420 Hopewell Church Road Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.
