Connie Teno Smith Green

She was born on February 6, 1929 to the late James Teno and Lois Isom Teno.

Connie was a loving wife, mother and memaw. She lived life to the fullest. She was a homemaker, a cosmetics buyer for Montaldos and worked in Child Care at Park Road Baptist Church in her later years.

Mrs. Green is survived by her sons, Frederick O. Smith, Jr. and wife Vickie, and Anthony Ray Smith; granddaughters, Lindsey Goll and husband Garrett, Megan Hackney and husband Taylor and Meredith Hill; eight great grandchildren and brothers, John Teno and wife Carolyn and Mike Teno and wife Shirley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick O. Smith, Sr. and her second husband, Robert L. Green, Jr.; granddaughter, Shannon McIntyre and brother, James Ray Teno.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, December 15, 2017 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227 with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.
