Donald Jackson "Jack" Russell, III, 70, of Matthews, NC, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, with his family by his side. A native of Charlotte, NC, he was the son of the late Donald Jackson Russell, Sr. and Betty McManus Russell. Jack will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. He enjoyed his guitars, his dogs and cat, and riding his Harley. Jack also enjoyed many hobbies. He was a plank owner of the USS Enterprise, and a member of the Harley Owners Group. Jack was also a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Mint Hill Masonic Lodge #742.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, his son and daughter, a sister, two grandsons, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Jack’s life will be celebrated privately.
