Born in Herculaneum, Missouri, Mr. Simpson was the son of the late Clifford and Joanna Simpson. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Simpson was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Simpson; his children, Melissa Noblitt (Jason) and Brian Simpson (Erin); and his grandchildren, Gethan Condron, Emma Condron, Davis Noblitt, Jackson Simpson and Logan Simpson.
The family will receive friends 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm Monday, September 13, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
