Elaine Hood Mullis

Elaine was born in Mecklenburg county to the late Burt Hood and Mae Ross Hood.

She was preceded in death by her son Mitchell Mullis. Survivors include her sister Dolores Childers, wife of the late Harold Childers, daughter Nevelyn Mullis Thrasher (Michael), grandson Jordan Smith (Leighann) great grandchildren Makelle and Penelope, nephew Kevin Childers (Amy), Amanda Childers Innerfield (Andrew), nephew Chris Childers (Donna) Evan and Aaron Childers.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, Mint Hill.
