Beth was an avid lover of all animals and had a forty year career at the Uniontown Veterinary Clinic in Uniontown, Ohio. In 2019, she retired and moved to Mint Hill, North Carolina with her husband of almost 20 years to be close to her grandchildren. She enjoyed her final years in the warmer weather in the Carolinas and enjoyed visiting the beaches as much as she could. Her positive spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Roger Schlub.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Dave Battista; her son, Adam Schlub (Christine); her step-children, Anthony Battista, Vallerie Battista, and Alisha Battista; her grandchildren, Jackson Schlub and Eliza Schlub; her step-grandchildren, Anthony Battista Jr., Courtney Battista, Gavin Battista, Ahryanna Cummins, Adreanna Cummins, Brianna Cummins, Charlie Mann III, and Vivanna Mann; her siblings, Karen Plummer (Jerry) and Kevin Schlub (Diane); her best friend, Lisa King; her shih tzu mix, Gidget; and her maine coon cat, Blue; and many other loving extended family members.
A Homegoing Service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at McEwen Funeral Service, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC. A visitation will be held prior from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
