He was born on April 17, 1969 in Debary, Florida to the late Samuel Edward Faron and June Nowaski Faron. He was a loving, and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.
Eric is survived by his wife, Kari Faron, his daughters, Jordan and Amelia; mother, June Nowaski Faron; sister, Julie Grosso (Chris); brother, Gregory Faron (Missy); six nephews and two nieces; several Aunts and Uncles. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Samuel E. Faron and step-brother A1C Brian W. McVeigh.
He lived his life exemplifying three traits. Eric always put family first, his sense of community along with the desire to serve his community, and treating others with compassion and understanding. To Eric, being part of his family meant he was there for you whenever and unconditionally. He started his service to community, first, as a police officer with the Winter Springs, Florida Police Department, and continued throughout his life with his generosity, time, and offering of assistance, even to strangers.
He spent 20 years working for 84 Lumber and served in several crucial roles to build, what has become, a national Engineered Wood Product program for the company. Along the way, he also built his 84 family. With his jokes, his welcoming and easy-going demeanor, and his commitment to the development and growth of his department, Eric was a friend to all both in his department and the company.
Along with his family, Eric loved woodworking and aviation. He spent many hours building, and fixing anything that was asked of him. You could be sure that if Eric built it, it was built Faron tough. His love of anything that flew was both a hobby and lifelong study of how planes, helicopters, and rockets were constructed, and what made their flight possible. His favorite, the SR-71 “Blackbird”, could spark hours long conversations about every part and capability of the bird.
The most important part of Eric’s world was his family. This included his family of friends. Eric unconditionally made the time for anyone he called friend. His beloved wife and two daughters were always the brightest light in his eyes. His wife, Kari, was his Cruise Director through day-to-day life, and 22 years of marriage. He was a loving father and took much pride and joy in doting on his Princess and his Monkey. Talking about his girls was a sure way to see that big Eric smile.
Eric will forever be remembered by the larger-than-life legacy he leaves for those that knew and loved him to carry on. His big laugh, famous bear hugs, hilarious antics, unsurpassed wittiness, quirky sense of humor, and unyielding love for those closest to him are just some of the memories he leaves with us.
