He was a much loved man and will be greatly missed. George was a beloved father, husband and grandfather. He loved to fish about as much as he loved his family. He has now been reunited with his wife, Cathy Erlene Bazen up in Heaven.
George is survived by his two daughters; Tracy Holden and Tamara Turner; son-in-law, Travis Turner; three grandsons, Tyler, Cooper and Austin; two sisters, Elise and Judy, and one brother, William. George is also survived by many friends.
A visitation with the family will be held from 11:00 until 12:00pm, Monday, March 21, 2016 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation in the McEwen Mint Hill Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
