Born on November 21, 1972, Jacqueline lived a life defined by kindness, love, and an unwavering devotion to caring for others. Those who knew her best would describe her as kind, loving, and deeply motherly—qualities that shaped every role she held in life.
Jacqueline was a proud graduate of North Mecklenburg High School, Class of 1991.
Following her calling to care for others, she continued her education at Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, where she completed the Certified Nursing Assistant II Course in 2000. Caregiving was more than a profession for Jacqueline; it was a reflection of her compassionate and nurturing spirit, which she freely shared with family, friends, and anyone in need.
A devoted member of St. James the Greater Church, Jacqueline’s faith anchored her and guided her life. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. She also enjoyed crafting, finding peace and creativity in making things by hand—often as gifts filled with love.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Martin Stephens; her mother-in-law, Lutgarda Tubo Rodriguez; and her beloved godson, Derrick Reyes.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ernesto Rodriguez, of Midland; her children, Andrew Rodriguez, of Locust, and his wife Raven Rodriguez; Matthew Rodriguez, of Hickory, and his wife Haleigh Hopkins; and her treasured grandchildren: Skylar Blair Rodriguez, Malachi Wilhelm, Damian Rodriguez, and Everleigh Rodriguez.
