Jim was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He also worked with La Touraine Coffee Company and The Charlotte Observer.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Cassidy Bradley; two daughters, Leilani Nantz of Charlotte, and Heather Daughtry and husband, John, of Franklin, TN; and three granddaughters, Alexis Bradley of Denver, NC, Sarah Nantz of Charlotte, and Emily Nantz of Knoxville, TN. Survivors also include Jim’s brothers and sister, Jake Bradley and wife, Sue, of Peoria, AZ, Kate Landacre of Jamestown, OH, and Gary Bradley and wife, Carol, of Williamsburg, OH.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. John Harrill will officiate. Interment will follow in Charlotte Memorial Gardens.
