He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark Haggitt and Sherri Grant; his daughter and son-in-law, Paul and Beth Talbert; his grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Daniel and Brittany Haggitt; his sister, Susan Woody; his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Donna Haggitt; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Johanna Haggitt; his mother, Eldora Haggitt; his father, Russell Haggitt; and his brother, Rodger Haggitt.
As one who loved the Lord, he was a member of Albemarle Road Presbyterian Church.
Services will be held at Albemarle Road Presbyterian Church, 6740 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28215, on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 10:45 am, and a Service of Witness to the Resurrection to follow at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Albemarle Road Presbyterian Church.
