Joseph was born in Bethlehem, PA. He graduated from Liberty High School in Bethlehem and went on to graduate from Moravian College in Allentown, where he studied engineering. After college, he joined the Army and acquired training in aerospace technologies. During his career, he worked for McDonnell Douglas Aerospace and Hughes Aircraft. He made value added contributions to the design of both commercial aircraft and the lunar landers that paved the way for manned moon missions.
In his spare time, Joe liked to manage and maintain his rental properties in the Palisades California area. He also loved to follow the California horse racing circuit. Joe was a very kind and generous man who sincerely cared about his family and friends. We will miss his quiet and patient personality.
