Joseph Daniel Ross

He was born on Sept. 27, 1990, in Charlotte, to Randy and Sharon Ross.

He graduated from Piedmont High School in Union County, NC, and worked in construction with his brother Josh.

Survivors include his father, Randy Ross, Mint Hill; his mother, Sharon Ross, Clemmons; his brother, Joshua Ross, Yadkinville; his paternal grandfather, Hal G. Ross, Mint Hill; his paternal grandmother, Linda Rosette and husband Jack, Troutman, NC; his maternal grandfather, James Robinson, Acworth, GA; his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Ivey and husband Mack, Oakboro, NC; his paternal great grandmother, Ella C. Clontz, Mint Hill; his maternal great grandmother, Virginia Hooper, Harrisburg, NC. Joe had many aunts, uncles, and cousins and a God Grandmother, Frankie G. Howell, of Charlotte.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church, 420 Hopewell Church Rd., Monroe, NC, immediately followed by his memorial service at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend Dr. Lee Pigg and the Reverend Rick Whittier will officiate.
