Joyce Williams Love

Joyce was born on March 28, 1942, in Fayetteville, North Carolina to the late Alvah and Mary Todd Williams. She graduated East Mecklenburg High School in 1960.

Joyce married the love of her life, Larry Love, and together they had a son, Jeffrey. Joyce embraced motherhood and was overjoyed when she became a grandmother to her grandson, Jeffrey Ferron and great grandmother to her great grandon, Jeffrey. She welcomed any opportunity to spend time and create memories with her family. She was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed spending time in her garden, flower arranging and reading. Joyce left an unforgettable impact on her family and her spirit will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Larry A. Love.

Joyce is survived by her son, Jeffrey A. (Kim) Love of Charlotte, North Carolina; her grandson, Jeffrey Ferron; great grandson, Jeffrey Love III; her sister, Sylvia W. (Leland) Martin of Cumming, Georgia; and her niece, Kelley Martin of Athens Georgia.

Family will receive friends Sunday, March, 30, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 31, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
