Judy Cline Burke

Judy Cline Burke, 77, of Mint Hill, North Carolina, passed away on March 30th, 2026. Born on July 16th, 1948, in Conover, North Carolina, Judy lived a life marked by creativity, devotion, and a deep love for her family, community and faith in Christ.

Judy graduated from Bunker Hill High School in Claremont, NC and went on to study graphic arts at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC.

She built a career as a graphic artist, contributing her talents to CATO Clothing as well as Package Products.

Faithful, strong, and loving, Judy poured her heart into the people and places she cherished. Her dedication to community service was evident in her many volunteer roles, particularly at her church, Gideons International and the Mint Hill Historical Society. Leading student tours and sharing local history brought her great happiness, and she became a beloved presence there.

Above all, Judy will be remembered for love and dedication to Christ and her family.

Judy is predeceased by her parents, Milton and Mildred Cline, as well as her brother, Dale Cline.

Judy is survived by her husband of over 54 years, James; her sons, Greg (LuAnn) and David (Gina); and her grandchildren, Carson, Cheyanne, Daniel, and Emily, who brought her endless pride and joy. She is also survived by her siblings, Kay (Bish) Ballard and Jerry (Cindy) Cline, who shared a lifetime of memories with her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Mint Hill Historical Society.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church in 2817 Mt. Harmony Church Road, Matthews, NC. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am. Judy will then be laid to rest at Forest Lawn West Cemetery at 2:00pm.
