Kathryn Adams Kimrey, 83, of Charlotte, passed away quietly Saturday, June 1, 2013 at home. Kathryn was a Presbyterian Hospital retiree and had a vivacious spirit that she has passed on to her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lewis M. Kimrey, Sr. They leave a legacy of family, love and strong values. She is survived by her sons; Lewis M. (Kay) Kimrey, Jr. and Joseph W. (Jaime) Kimrey, daughters; Kathryn K. (John) Phillips and Lisa K. (Allen) McGee, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00am on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd. Charlotte, NC 28227.
