She was born on June 6, 1919, to the late Jessie and Jess Bowes, and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Homer E. Carpenter.
Ms. Carpenter leaves behind her two children; Ted M. (Darlene) Carpenter and Linda C. (Edwin) Burgos, one sister, three brothers, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Ms. Carpenter was a strong willed, loving, beautiful person who could put a smile on everyone’s face. Heaven has gained an angel that will be missed on earth dearly. The family would like to thank the staff at the Brian Center in Monroe and of Lawyers Glen in Mint Hill.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at twelve o’clock at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd Charlotte, NC 28227.
