Linda Gail Callahan, of Charlotte, passed away February 8, 2013. She was born in Charlotte on July 29, 1953 to the late Lillie Jane and Raymond Lee Seaford. Linda graduated from North Mecklenburg High School and was an Arts & Crafts instructor while travelling to different locations with her Air Force husband. She was united with Devonshire Baptist Church on December 7, 1969.
Linda is survived by her husband, Eddie D. Callahan, her sons; Christopher Lee of Charlotte, Kevin Ashley (Kresta) of Millington, TN and Mark Lindsey of Charlotte, grandchildren; Jeavoni Lawrence Pierotti, Darian Scott, Tabitha Rea, Audra Samantha and Kevin Ashley, Jr. siblings; Barbara (Tom) Tucker of Matthews, Raymond Lee (Rebecca) Seaford of Matthews and Deborah (Tim) Lowery of Mint Hill.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd. Charlotte, NC 28227. A chapel service will follow at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Devonshire Baptist Church 6744 View Way Dr. Charlotte, NC 28215.
