Lucille M. White

After moving to North Carolina, she met her husband, Niven White. They were married in 1948. Together they had two daughters, Linda and Janice.

Lucille worked for Bowman-Dunn for more than 15 years. She was a member of the VFW #9488 where she enjoyed serving veterans. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed watching NASCAR races and listening to country music.

Lucille is survived by her daughters, Linda Moody (Steve) and Janice Williams (Benny Beasley); her grandchildren, Jennifer Rodriguez (Michael), Lloyd Williams III (Stephanie), and Samantha Moody; her great-grandchildren, Charles Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, Makena Williams, and Jaclyn Williams; and her sister, Pauline Tyler.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Gateway Baptist Church, 6321 Robinson Church Road, Charlotte, NC. A visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery.
