In her life, Lyla had many roles: a teacher to her little brother, a dancer, an artist and creator, a wrestling partner with her daddy, a cousin that more resembled a sister, and so much more. She did all of this with a constant smile on her face, and most likely a snack in her hand, always unknowingly showing us how we should live our lives.
Lyla had a magical connection with her little brother, an inseparable bond with her cousin, and because of her big blues eyes, an instant adoration from all who met her. She will live on, a bright light in our hearts, adding one more title to her resume…our guardian angel.
In loving memory of our family, Lyla was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ghulam Hussain Chaudhary, and Qumrunissa, Betty and James Cook, her maternal great-grandparents, Ernest and Gladys Brown, and Ray Yaw.
Lyla is survived by her parents, Ali and Amanda; her brother, Asher; her paternal grandparents, Tamur Chowdhary and Sammie Chaudhary; her maternal grandparents, Brian Wallace, Kathleen and Joshua Thompson; her aunts and uncles, Rafia Chaudhary, Rhaza Chaudhary, Rebekah Wallace, Erin Tackett, Cameron and Kobi Thompson; her great-grandparents, Wanda Barrington, Joanne Yaw, Ted and Dee Rodgers; her cousin/sister, Riley Bruckner; along with extended family and friends.
