Mitchell "Mitch" John Fiore

The family will gather to greet friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday April 6th, 2012 at McEwen - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd. Funeral Service will begin immediately following visitation at 7:00 pm in the chapel.

Mitch was born July 27th, 1964 in Binghamton NY, a son of Angelo Donato Fiore and the late Joanne Kay Fiore. Mitch was also preceded in death by his brother, Mark Thomas Fiore.

Mitch will be remembered as a loving and caring father,husband and friend. He took great pride in everything that he did. He was a devoted employee of Frito-Lay for 19 years.

Mitch is survived by his loving wife, Lori Fiore of Monroe, NC; his children Kimberly Fiore and Dillon Fiore of Indian Trail, NC, his father Angelo Fiore (Carolyn) of Kernersville, NC; his sister Micki Hartley (Mike) and nieces Casey and Katie Hartley of Blowing Rock, NC; his sister Mindy Salway (Scott) and niece and nephew Gabrielle and Cameron Salway of Tamarac, FL; his Sister-in-Law Donna Fiore of Mt. Pleasant NC; and his former wife Jan Lee of Indian Trail NC.

A special thank you to Renee Blakeney, CNA at CMC Union and Roland Keyner, CNA at CMC Main for their love and care, to all of the staff at the Charlotte ALS Neurology Center, and also to all of Mitch and Lori's friends, family and neighbors for their love and support throughout his courageous fight against ALS.
