She was born on August 24, 1939 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Richard and Roslyn DeBorde.
Nancy attended St. Vincent Academy where she was class president, served as PTA President at Benedictine Military School, attended Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church and was the pianist for the St. Vincent Glee Club.
Her hobbies included cross stitch and needlepoint, playing the piano and watching college football; especially the Georgia Bulldogs.
She was predeceased by her husband Roy Valenti in 1996.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Michael (Susan) Valenti and Chris (Lynn) Valenti, grandchildren; Matthew, Nick, Elizabeth and Caroline, sister, Laura Jaugstetter and brother, Richard DeBorde, both of Savannah, GA.
The family requests memorials be sent in Nancy's honor to The Little Flower Assisted Living 8700 Lawyers Road Mint Hill, NC 28227.
Services will be he held in Savannah, Georgia at a later date.
