Pauline Wiley

Born July 3, 1923, in Watertown, a daughter to Enrico and Martha Guida Fiaschetti.

Pauline loved her family, and expressed it in many ways, especially with food.

No one was allowed to leave her home hungry!

She enjoyed frequent trips to visit her children, no matter the distance.

She delighted to bless people with handmade gifts, always working on something for somebody. She constantly thought of others.

She was a lifelong resident of Watertown, NY, until she suffered a stroke on March 2, 2013, while she and Richard were visiting their daughter Jill.

She resided in a nursing home in the Charlotte, NC area, until she passed away.

She was predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Richard,

along with their four children, Adele King (Mark) of Santee, CA; Don (Debbie) of Sackets Harbor, (NY); Bob (Nita) of Delmont, PA;

and Jill of Mint Hill, NC; her brother Roger (Suzie) of Watertown; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Grandson Rev. Alan Wiley performed a heartfelt eulogy for family present in NC.

There will be no calling hours or other service at this time, per Pauline's request. A memorial service will be held at a future date.

The family would like to thank their many friends at First Baptist Church of Matthews, and Mint Hill Baptist Church, for their love, prayers, and support.
