Robert Craig Brummer of Monroe, NC, passed away Friday May 6, 2016 at the age of 71. After retiring in December of 2014 as Senior Vice-President of Human Resources from Cato he spent time traveling to visit family, hunting and fishing on the lake. He always knew how to say the right thing to make people feel valued.
He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Jill Brummer; children Anne Brunson, Craig Brummer, Carrie Hanna; grandchildren Christina and Sean Brunson; and brother Dr. Benjamin Brummer. A fierce competitor when it came to family games he was a beloved brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend and he will be sorely missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 11th of May, 2016 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 13700 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
